The program for the event is as follows: \n1. Welcome2. Watch: Adults and teens are invited to watch a short video from PBS News Hour with an overview of the conflict between Israel and Palestine.3. Reflect: After the 10-minute video\, participants will get into breakout groups to discuss reflections and generate questions.4. Discuss: Two members of our community\, one identifying as Palestinian and one as Jewish\, will help facilitate a group discussion.6. Wrap-Up: We’ll end with an action item that gives participants an easy access point to begin or continue their outward support of Palestinian liberation.7. Community engagement and nourishment: Folks are invited to eat\, chat\, and get to know each other. \nYouth/children will be welcomed to contribute to a banner project and engage in writing/crafting activities throughout the program. \n\n\n\nJewish Voice for Peace is the largest progressive Jewish anti-Zionist organization in the world. They’re organizing a grassroots\, multiracial\, cross-class\, intergenerational movement of U.S. Jews into solidarity with the Palestinian freedom struggle\, guided by a vision of justice\, equality\, and dignity for all people. \nIf you’ve been looking for a political home for Jews on the left in this perilous moment; if you’ve been wanting a Jewish community with justice at the center; if you’ve been looking to turn your rage and grief into meaningful\, strategic action: Join Jewish Voice for Peace.
