Join us in celebrating the launch of Booth 17 on September 30th at 7pm!
About this event
All ages welcome as we celebrate with Booth on the release of their 17th print issue. We will have readings, merch, poetry for a cause, and local food!
Past published Booth writer, Arriel Vinson, and recently published, Cole Chamberlain & Miranda Williams,will be joining us for readings.
We will also have a poetry table taking donations for Planned Parenthood, table of Booth merch, all while enjoying some local food. Readings will start about 7:45pm. All ages welcome!

Booth
Booth publishes four titles of original literature on the first Friday of every month. In addition, we publish two print issues yearly, usually in summer and winter.
Booth debuted in 2009. Our staff is comprised of students, faculty, and alumni from the Butler University MFA program. Butler MFA students and alumni execute approximately 98% of Booth. Copy editing, web design, print issues, t-shirts and merch, and so on. We have incredible talent in our program and put it to work at Booth.
We typically see around 500-600 submissions per month, or close to 20 per day. Of these we accept around 50 titles per year, or approximately 1%.
