We are pleased to have a very special guest, author Amy Schmidt reading selections from Cannonball! Fearlessly Facing Midlife and Beyond.

“You haven’t peaked yet, you’re just getting started.” That’s the message Amy Schmidt has for women over 40. She should know. She launched her business as a podcaster, author, public speaker, blogger and founder of the media platform Fearlessly Facing Fifty™ six months before turning 50. Now, Amy has more than 40 podcasts recorded and is launching her first book, Cannonball! Fearlessly Facing Midlife and Beyond.

Her mission is to challenge the narrative around midlife: it’s not a crisis, it’s an opportunity. Amy wants to inspire women to find their confidence and their voice, to examine what they’ve done to get to this point in their life and put their fear aside to start on this part of their journey. Amy’s book incorporates reflections and ways that women can arm themselves with the tools to “cannonball with confidence”.
