Indy Indie Book Crawl

Welcome to the Indy Indie Book Crawl 2026! We are thrilled that you are BACK for year THREE of supporting local, independent, and community bookstores and shops across Central Indiana.
IIBC2026 runs from Thursday, March 19 through Sunday, March 22.
Indy Reads’ adjusted community bookstore hours:
Thursday: 11-7pm
Friday: 11-8pm
Saturday: 10-7pm
Sunday: 10-5pm
**All proceeds from our community bookstore support Indy Reads’ tuition-free adult education classes of nearly 500 learners!
Indy Reads will have a $10 Bring-Your-Own-Tote Sale March 19-March 22. Bring a bag or tote of any size or purchase a tote from Indy Reads and fill it with books from the marked sections for only $10!
Here is how IIBC works:
– Pick up a 2026 IIBC bookmark from any participating store starting 3/19 (full store list below) or at the IIBC2026 Kick Off Party on 3/18.
– Visit as many stores as you can from 3/19-3/22 (there is no minimum!)
– Each store you visit will mark off your bookmark
– Each store you visit = one entry to win a prize! No purchase is necessary but buying books is always encouraged
– Follow @indyindiebookcrawl on Instagram and make at least one social media post during the book crawl dates (does not apply if you do not have social media accounts)

This event is Pay-What-You-Can. Here’s what your suggested donation can do for the Indy Reads community:
FREE Ticket– This ticket is for attendees that would like to attend this event and are unable to purchase a ticket. Indy Reads values our community and facilitators. We are proud to provide programming to all. Thank you for being a part of our community!
$10 Donation – This donation covers the cost of one attendee to this event. Indy Reads strives to bring the very best programming to Fountain Square and all Hoosiers. Thank you for helping us to keep our quality programs accessible for all!
$20 Donation– This donation covers the cost of two attendees to this event. If you are attending as an individual, your ticket at this level makes it possible for another who cannot afford a ticket to attend. It is only through the generosity of our community that we are able to support programs that enrich the lives of all Hoosiers. Thank you for your support!
Other Dontation Amount – “Pay-What-You-Can” really does mean pay what you can. Indy Reads appreciates that every one of our community members is able to support our vision of 100% literacy for all in different ways. Whether you can pay $5 or $50, we are so excited to see you – and thank you for your support!
