Meet the Author
Nabil Marshood, Ph.D., is a distinguished Fulbright Scholar and Professor Emeritus of Humanities & Social Sciences at Hudson County Community College where he held the position of chair of sociology and anthropology department and taught courses in sociology of the family, sociology of religion, race relations, social research methods, and introduction to sociology.
With more than thirty-five years of academic experience and a background in mental health counseling, Marshood brings a unique blend of academic expertise and practical wisdom to his work. He has authored several articles and books, including Voices from the Camps, and coauthored Everyday Sociology. His research spans sociology, psychology, and spirituality, exploring the intersections of love, empowerment, and social justice. His passion for empowering individuals and communities shines through in his writing, inspiring readers to embrace love as a catalyst for personal and societal transformation.
