What Nourishes You?
Nourishment is stitched in the clothing we have worn, steeped in the food we have cooked, echoed in the roads we have traveled. Devour stories and poems from 33 diverse authors about the people, places, and moments that nourish.

This is the third anthology curated and published by Gal’s Guide; a unique women’s history lending library that preserves, shares, and champions women’s achievements. The Gals Guide Anthology is a yearly effort to hold open a space for insightful voices.

Contributors will read selections from the new Gals Guide Anthology: Nourish. This reading is suitable for all ages. Signed copies of the books will be available to purchase.

In this anthology, you’ll find seasoned authors such as; Trudy Krisher, Liz Flaherty, Angie Lipp Klink, Chris Dean and more!

New writers making their entrance into print are Clare Doolin, Leslie Steele, and Andria Weyrich.

About Gal’s Guide Press

Gal’s Guide Press was created out of the Gal’s Guide Library, the first women’s history lending library in the United States. Founded in 2020 Gal’s Guide’s mission is to provide an independent women’s history library to preserve, collect, share, and champion women’s achievements and lessons learned. Gal’s Guide Anthology: Women of History was released in 2022. The following year released Gals Guide Anthology: Journey. 2024 will see the release of Gals Guide Anthology: Nourish. Gal’s Guide will always be a place where all are welcome and women’s achievements and voices are preserved and shared.

FREE – This ticket is for attendees that would like to attend this event and are unable to purchase a ticket. Indy Reads values our community and facilitators. We are proud to provide programming to all. Thank you for being a part of our community!

$10 – This donation covers the cost of one attendee to this event. Indy Reads strives to bring the very best programming to Fountain Square and all Hoosiers. Thank you for helping us to keep our quality programs accessible for all!
