Hear Our Stories: The Life and Afterlife of Incarceration

Hear the lived experiences of our prison system on June 6th at 7pm.

We invite you to attend and listen to individuals sharing their stories of life before, within and outside of incarceration on June 6th at 7pm at Indy Reads. People returning to our city after being incarcerated face many challenges. Former offenders will share first-hand stories about their lives inside prison and what it’s like adjusting to life on theoutside. Hear the lived experiences of our prison system and learn howyou can get involved in the many organizations that provide servicesboth inside and outside of prisons. Let these courageous storieschange your perspective and motivate you to act.

Storytelling Arts of Indiana‘s mission: To enrich, connect, and entertain through the art and experience of storytelling. FREE – This ticket is for attendees that would like to attend this event and are unable to purchase a ticket. Indy Reads values our community and facilitators. We are proud to provide programming to all. Thank you for being a part of our community!
