Publishing Workshop: Dana Bradford-Majors

FreeJoin Indy Reads for this leg of Dana Bradford-Majors’ Author Talk Tour on January 21st at 2pm! This is a unique opportunity to:
1. Gain Inspiration: Dana Bradford-Majors will share her personal journey, highlighting the challenges she overcame to build her own publishing company. Her story is one of determination and resilience, which can motivate people to pursue their dreams.
2. Explore the World of Literature: Dana will engage with the community on the significance of literature in today’s world. She will discuss the power of storytelling and the impact it has on readers of all ages.
3. Discuss the Publishing Industry: Dana will provide valuable insights into the publishing industry, shedding light on the opportunities it offers to aspiring writers and the role of diversity in literature.
4. Q&A Session: The Author Talk Tour will include an interactive Q&A session where people can ask Dana questions about her journey, writing, and the publishing industry.
This event is recommended for all ages.
Dana Bradford-Majors is the coauthor of Humans Can’t Fly and …Because Big Boys Aren’t Afraid of Outer Space––both published in the “Black Boy Joy” series with her son and coauthor, Pheldon J. Majors, III. Dana was born and raised in Mississippi and often traveled to New Orleans, Louisiana to visit family and embrace the culture. She is a teacher who has recently shifted her focus to publishing children’s books under her self-named company, B. Majors Publishing. She is average height (5’5″ to be exact), and lives in Indianapolis, IN with her five children—all of who have distinct personalities—two dogs, an amazingly talented drummer husband, and a partridge in a pear tree.
