There is room on our brooms to bring your kids to Indy Reads for Reading with a Witch featuring members of The Black Hats Society of Historic Irvington.

We’ll have books and fun, with just the right amount of spooky.

Costumes are optional but encouraged!

This community event is perfect for children and adults of all ages.

Proceeds from sales at Indy Reads support the nearly 500 adult students in our English literacy programs.

The Black Hats Society of Irvington Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3) public charity. Based in Historic Irvington, the group of Theatrical Witches engages in volunteering in the community, performing at events, and fundraising endeavors to benefit local charities. The council and members work their magic by giving their time, resources, and talents to create spellbinding characters.
